preferring to use traditional search methods supplemented by its database. We do
however operate an on-line registration system for potential candidates who,
once accepted, may update their details or CV at any time.

looking for NED roles and have not held an NED role before, please take a minute to
review the following points.
For NED roles our clients will invariably seek at least
one of the following:
- CEO or Finance Director experience at a quoted or substantial
(i.e. more than £20m turnover) private company
- senior level partnership in a major professional firm
- a proven track record with, and a range of contacts throughout, the fund
management community
- specific, in depth board level experience within a clearly defined sector
The New Combined Code, provides strong recommendations and guidelines relating
to the roles of Directors and the performance of the Board.
Registering on-line
The online form should take only a few minutes to complete, but
it will help to bear the following points in mind:
- the sector experience fields are intended to reflect areas in
which you have extensive, direct board level experience - it is usually a
credibility damaging practice to tick more than two or three such areas
- your profile is intended as a brief cameo - specific achievements and
experience are more effective than subjective, qualitative comments
